These terms apply to services provided by NK Gas Service & Repairs.

2. Services
We provide gas engineering services including but not limited to:
- Boiler repairs and servicing
- Gas appliance installation
- Gas Safety Certificates (CP12)
- Central heating repairs
- Gas cooker and hob installation
- Emergency gas repairs
All gas work is carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. Our Gas Safe registration number is 568305, which can be verified at www.gassaferegister.co.uk.
3. Quotations & Pricing
Quotations are provided based on the information available at the time. Prices may be subject to change if:
- Additional work is required beyond the original scope
- Hidden issues are discovered during the work
- Access difficulties are encountered
- Parts prices change significantly
We will always discuss any additional costs with you before proceeding.
4. Call-Out Charges
A call-out fee of £50 applies to all service visits. This fee covers the engineer's travel and initial diagnosis. The call-out fee is payable regardless of whether you proceed with the recommended work.
If you proceed with repairs, the call-out fee is included in the total cost.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due on completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept:
- Cash
- Bank transfer
- Card payment
For commercial clients, alternative payment terms may be available on request.
6. Appointments & Cancellations
We aim to attend all appointments at the agreed time. If we need to reschedule, we will contact you as soon as possible.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours notice where possible. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a charge.
7. Workmanship Guarantee
We stand behind our workmanship. If you experience any issues with work we have completed, please contact us and we will address the problem.
Parts are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The terms of parts warranties vary by manufacturer and will be advised at the time of installation.
8. Gas Safety
As Gas Safe registered engineers, we are required by law to:
- Only work on gas appliances that are within our competence
- Carry our Gas Safe ID cards at all times when working
- Report dangerous gas situations appropriately
- Issue warning notices or disconnect unsafe appliances
If we identify an appliance that is "Immediately Dangerous" (ID), we are legally required to disconnect it and may not reconnect it until it is safe.
9. Liability
We maintain appropriate public liability insurance for our work. Our liability is limited to the direct cost of remedying defective workmanship and does not extend to consequential losses.
10. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for:
- Providing safe access to the work area
- Ensuring someone over 18 is present during the work
- Informing us of any known issues or hazards
- Clearing the area around appliances where necessary
- Ensuring pets are kept away from the work area
11. Complaints
We aim to provide excellent service. If you are not satisfied with our work, please contact us directly first so we can resolve the issue.

12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
